Reinforcement steel (rebar)

Construction reinforcement steel — it is one of the types of rolled metal that is made of round hot-rolled steel. Two types of construction reinforcement steel are the most popular – smooth and corrugated. Smooth reinforcement steel – round cross-section metal bars with smooth surface. Corrugated reinforcement steel – round metal bars with corrugated surface, where the slots are in angle against the longitudinal axle that allows securing better grip with concrete. Construction reinforcement steel is used in many types of construction, it is impossible to build a safe building without reinforcement steel. Construction reinforcement steel is widely used; however, its main purpose is reinforced concrete constructions that are used in almost every building.
